Abstract

The conidia and vegetative hyphae of the entomogenous fungus Entomophaga aulicae possess ovoid microbodies containing a prominent hexagonal crystalline array which fails to give a positive catalase reaction. The hyphae also contain complex arrays of flexuous rod virus-like particles 20.3 nm in width and of undetermined length.
