Abstract

Micro-vibration has been a critical factor for image quality of high-resolution satellites, and with the increase of resolution, especially for the ultrahigh-resolution satellites, it is not enough to get high-quality images if only depends on front-end suppression. In this paper, the influencing characteristic of micro-vibration on image quality was first analyzed to provide guidance for micro-vibration suppression and image processing, including direction, amplitude, frequency, phase and TDI series. Then, several solutions were introduced to reduce the influence of micro-vibration on image quality in VRSS-2 from whole-path factors: disturbance sources, transmission path, sensitive payload and image processing, which can provide reference for system design of following ultrahigh-resolution satellites.
