Abstract

In this fast changing world of wireless communication network. Multiband antenna has been playing a very significant role for wireless service necessity. Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave signal Access, Radar and Wireless local area network have been generally applied in mobile devices such as hand held computers and smart communication device(like smart phone). These are considered as a cost effective, flexible, easy fabricated, reliable and high speed data connectivity. In this research work various methods and structures are discussed that are used to enhance the bandwidth, gain and directivity of the micro strip antenna that are particularly design for WLAN, WiMAX and Radar. Also we discuss the basic microstrip antenna parameters, various feeding methods of micro strip patch antenna advantages and disadvantages.
