Abstract
Micro-friction stir welding (μFSW) is a revolutionary joining process which is usually used for the welding of metallic alloys, like aluminium, magnesium, copper, lead, zinc, titanium and other softer structural alloys. Micro-friction stir welding is employed to join thin electrical components and micro-mechanical components which is primarily used in industries like; aerospace, automotive and other industrial applications. Tool rotational speed along with speed of welding and angle of tool tilting are most vital parameters for the μFSW process which affects the joint property. It gives better joint properties than the base material properties.
