Abstract

Results are provided for a study of the structure, mechanical properties, stress-rupture and cyclic strengths of steel 12Kh1MF with a reduced molybdenum content and various micro-additions of boron, zirconium, cerium, and also combined alloying with these elements. It is established that combined alloying of the steel with micro-additions of these elements makes it possible to increase considerably steel’s stress-rupture strength, mechanical properties, and operating temperature for a component made from it at up to 610 °C.
