Memorializes Michael E. Connor (1942-2023), beloved academician, clinician, consultant, author, mentor, and friend. His work focused on issues affecting Black communities and families, the psychological well-being of Black men, maintaining and improving relationships with children, and exercise and sports psychology. This was evidenced in his clinical work with children, adults, and athletes; his community service with organizations like Man to Man: Urban Youth Advocates and the Black Infant Health Program; and his scholarly achievements, including numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and conference presentations, as well as the two editions of his book Black Fathers: An Invisible Presence in America.
