Abstract

In this work, we study the nanofluid instability of Magneto-hydro-dynamic (MHD) Hartmann flow by imposing transverse magnetic field using “chebyshev collocation method” between parallel plates. Nanofluids is the interruption of nanoparticles, which shows many attractive properties, and the particular features attempt extraordinary potential for many applications such as their uses as a coolant in the equipment of heat transfer (heat exchangers), radiators and electronic cooling system. The suspended nanoparticles of Fe2O3 in base fluid (water) are used. QZ (Qualitat and Zuverlassigkeit) algorithm is used for solving the stability equations to find eigenvalue problem. The instability details are investigated by attempting the Orr-sommerfeld equations (generalized) to determine the rate of growth and wavenumbers. Numerical values of critical Reynolds number, wave speed, wave number and nanoparticles volume fraction are computed and presented with tables and graphs.
