Abstract

The goal of the recent article is to identify the consequences of heat generation/absorption and suction/injection on MHD flow of Ag-water nanofluid past a stretching flat plat in a porous medium with Ohmic-viscous dissipation. The set of obtained ODEs have been solved along with auxiliary boundary conditions using a numerical approach calledRunge-Kutta-Fehlbergscheme through shooting technique. The influence of relevant parameters on dimensionless flow and thermal field profiles are shown by graphs and described in detail. Also the non-dimensional skin factor and heat transfer rate are stated as in tabular form. The results affirmed that as accelerated in the values of porosity parameter the coefficient of heat transfer reduces while it increases as raise in the suction/injection parameter. The outcomes also show that momentum boundary layer thickness declines on increasing the values of volume fraction of silver solid particles, but reverse trend is observed for thermal boundary layer.
