Abstract
In the competitive world of the automotive industry MG Rover, the UK's last major volume producer of cars, has to have a policy of continuous improvement if it is to survive. That is why it has recently accepted a proposal from Omron Electronics and Cougar Pumps to completely reengineer its ‘knock-off’ spray pump system at the number two paint plant in the Longbridge manufacturing facility, situated in Birmingham, England.
