Abstract

Key stakeholders’ analysis is a complex issue due to the large number of variables involved. This paper develops a multi-criteria methodology for identifying and classifying key stakeholders, by integrating thePESTEL analysis, the Mitchell model, and the Analytical Hierarchical Process (AHP). The methodology was applied and performed properly in a real case,by classifying 38% of the stakeholders identified as key ones. The results of the methodology application allow to prioritize management initiatives inthose stakeholders, which may affect the operations performance and the achievement of the organizational objectives.
