Abstract
The article deals with one of many possibilities for implementing online study materials in combination with face-to-face teaching, the flipped classroom method. This method was gradually created based on the pedagogical principles of strengthening autonomous learning, student activation, and the efficient use of limited lesson time. The availability of various types of teaching materials in digital form and the emergence of appropriate software support contributed to its expansion. The practical part of the paper describes a concrete example of the application of the flipped classroom method in teaching business English as part of a bachelor's program at a university. The designed study material and lesson plan was verified in the teaching and evaluated by both the teacher and the students as a suitable method for the enrichment of teaching.
