Abstract

The article aims to present methods for correcting the time series describing the average monthly level of employment and wages in the enterprise sector. These data, published monthly by the CSO, are based on preliminary information provided by enterprises shortly after the reporting month in the DG-1 report. They provide up to date. As a rule, they are, however, only estimated labour market information. Residency data often deviate from the data resulting from the settlement of registration, yet they are used to assess the situation on the labour market, as well as to construct any short-term forecasts. The proposed method takes into account the adjustments made by enterprises after the reporting date, allows to understand better and a more correctly the economic interpretation of changes in employment and wages.
