Abstract
The pathogenesis of congenital heart disease can not be explained by a simple genetic mechanism.Currently, it is recognized by the interaction of genetic and environmental factors.The environmental factors change epigenetic conditions in body.Methylation is the earliest research aspect in epigenetics.However, methylation in congenital heart disease is not being given enough attention until recent years.Therefore, this review describes the relationship between methylation and congenital heart disease, in order to make us understand the pathogenesis of congenital heart disease in-depthly.
