Abstract
At the present time three kinds of potential uranium deposit are known: the postmagmatic magsically hydrothermal), sedimentary and sedimentary-metamorphic. The laws of their formation and distribution are still insufficiently studied, but on the basis of existing information the most typical features of regions where prospecting for deposits of one or another type is possible, and the typical features of the structure of deposits, are already known. The organization of uranium prospeting may therefore be based on the division of a country into geological districts, and the actual search for deposits within the boundaries of likely districts if considerably facilitated.
