This book is Number 68 in the rapidly expanding series, Methods in Molecular Medicine . The editors aim “to provide a comprehensive collection of the most up-to-date techniques for the detection of molecular changes in human cancer”. By and large, they have succeeded. In 21 chapters, methods from whole chromosome analysis, DNA mutation, and gene expression analysis to analysis of the ends of chromosomes, the telomeres, are described.
