Abstract
The use of various ways and methods of general narcosis (anaesthesia) for surgical operations in animals, ensures a successful course and result, only with the proper selection of drugs and methods of their administration. When anaesthetizing rabbits, as well as other fur animals and rodents it is necessary to have knowledge on physiology, properties of anatomical structure of the respiratory tract in order to select ways and methods of administration. Our studies have found that one of the best ways of anaesthesia for rabbits is inhalation anesthesia, especially with a combination of components complementing each other.
