Abstract

In the work, from the standpoint of a systematic approach, a methodology for technological design of repair and restoration of worn parts using methods to improve the quality of the working layer is proposed. For the stages of the product life cycle, solving the problem of extending the service life after repair and restoration of worn parts, a general scheme and structure of information support for technological design were developed using restoration methods that ensure and improve the quality of the working layer. A variant of the technological process for the restoration of cylinder liners from modified gray cast iron by a combination of surface plastic deformation (SPD) and finishing antifriction non-abrasive treatment (FANT) is proposed.
