Abstract
This paper describes the real-time algorithm of ocean waves generated by the snake type wave maker in a test basin. The developed real-time algorithm forms a unified computation process against various kinds of waves. Moreover, a lattice filter like structure of this algorithm is shown. The algorithm takes an iterative formulation on its calculation process. An iterative calculation generally has a progressive error when the number of iteration becomes large. However, the algorithm causes only a little error after the one million times iteration. Further, the spectrum profiles generated by this method and the conventional one are discussed.
