Abstract

When choosing a rational variant of the logistics chain "Production is the main rail transport" a multicriteria task is solved, in which the priority must belong to the criterion of a minimum of full transport and production costs. The article describes the methodology for determining the total costs of production and the station of adjoining to the departure of the consignment, which provides the following types of costs: the location of the consignment in the warehouse of the manufacturer; the performance of cargo operations and their expectations; the arrangement of the cars on the cargo front; the supply-picking of the cars on the cargo fronts; the dismantling of cars at the station of the adjoining; the execution of operations with the wagons on the departure from the station of adjoining. This method gives an opportunity to estimate the quality of the developed technology for the transportation of the concrete consignment within the limits of the logistics chain "Production is the main rail transport". Economic transformation in Ukraine radically changed the economic situation and the relationship between economic entities, including the transport market environment. Under such conditions, it is important to ensure the introduction into the transport process of the logistic principles of management of specific traffic. For each of them, a rational logistics chain of cargo delivery should be developed.The main objective of the logistics chain for the delivery of goods (LСDG) is to ensure the maximum efficiency of the entire transport chain as a complex of individual components (transportation, terminal support, forwarding and agency services). For all the participants in the transport market, the main criterion for choosing a rational variant of delivery of goods (the development of LCDG) is the cost of transportation.In order to restore the economy of the state and bring its functioning to a modern society, an important task is to improve on mutually beneficial terms of relations between the cargo owners and railways, which requires the technical and technological re-equipment of main and industrial rail transport.The search for effective measures, the realization in which the activity of railways will improve the use of their limited resources, which will improve the quality of transport services becomes of particular relevance.In the conditions of significant fluctuations in freight traffic, the use of infrastructure of railway transport and rolling stock is complicated. Therefore, unproductive simple freight cars on stations and access roads of enterprises are growing and their use is deteriorating, because of the growing costs of railways and worsening of financial condition of railways and various companies (producers and consumers).
