Abstract

The article considers methodological basis of working with creolized text while teaching a foreign language in secondary school. The article shows the topicality of using creolized text – the type of text, which unites linguistic and visual compo- nents, which in their turn lead to full comprehension of the content. The author also considers different types of creolized text and its functions as an effective means for forming communicative competence while teaching a foreign language.
