Abstract

A continuous wavelet transform is used to analyze operation of a nonstationary signal of a quantum frequency standard. A method of translation transfer is proposed for elimination of the boundary effects in such a transform. Spectral integrals of the signal of the quantum frequency standard are calculated in several frequency intervals. A wavelet variance is introduced to determine time moments of the strongest fluctuations of the signal. The wavelet variance is compared with conventional and Allan variances.
