Abstract

Aim: This article is proposed method for studying the durability of road structures in order to ensure reliability and accident-free operation of highways.
Materials and Methods: The problem of durability assessment is solved by methods of the theory of Markov random processes.
Results: The result of the work is a mathematical formulation of the problem of predicting the residual resource (durability) and a method for solving it.
Conclusion: The method makes it possible to justify options for road and bridge structures that have the required durability while minimizing resource consumption.
