Abstract

The article presents an analysis of an experimental binary film-based lesson in the subjects "Russian Language" and "Foreign Language" on the topic "Scientific Narratiion as a Source of Information". The authors of the article rightly note that fluency in Kazakh, Russian and English is becoming an urgent need in our society. Since 2012, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been developing the Concept for the Development of Multilingual Education. A high level of proficiency in English and Russian, which are the official languages of ICAO, is the most important condition for the training of a future aviator specialist. The fact is emphasized that the training of a competitive aviator specialist, the development of the necessary linguistic and extra linguistic competencies in him requires the use of new teaching methods. And the binary model of education, which considers the interaction of two teachers, and the combination of two disciplines, has become extremely popular in recent years. One of the options for using the methodology "English language through the films" in the training of future aviators is shown. During the lesson, the following methods were used: heuristic conversation, teamwork, individual preliminary lesson, dramatization method, dubbing method. In the final part of the article Tenbaeva A.M. and Yerkebayeva A.N. note that binary filmbased lessons cannot be conducted on a constant basis. They contribute to the development of auditory comprehension and visual perception and assimilation of the material by students, the improvement of their multilingual thinking and skills.
