Abstract

A new method of acute pancreatitis modeling was designed experimentally, the essence of which consists in reproducing intraductal hypertension by means of ligation of the excretory pancreatic duct followed by administration of bile medical solution with trypsin into the pancreatic parenchyma. The application of the designed model makes it possible to achieve intra-acinar activation of pancreatic enzymes and reliably reproduce the major macroand microscopic signs of acute pancreatitis, creating the conditions necessary for an adequate study of its pathogenic mechanisms.
