Abstract

An unconventional method for increasing the slew rate (SR) of CMOS and BJT operational amplifiers (OPAMP) is considered. In order to obtain a significant gain for the SR (by a factor of 10-100), the parasitic capacitances are used in the common source (emitter) circuit of its input differential stage (DS). The Dual-Input-Stage scheme is applied as a DS. It is shown that the proposed paradoxical circuitry works in inverting connections of the OPAMP.
