Abstract
1. A technique has been developed for studying the antifriction properties and wear resistance of solid lubricant coatings in a wide temperature range. Suitable conditions for the application of lubricating films by various methods have been established. 2. A special high-temperature apparatus has been constructed enabling tests to be performed at temperatures of 20–1500°C in a vacuum (10−6 mm Hg) and in inert gaseous environments.
