Abstract

An experimental method was proposed for evaluating the rate of solution, coefficient of diffusion and adsorption of low-molecular weight components in filled elastomers. The method is based on comparing the length of motion of two different degrees of solution, determined optically from the radius of granule undergoing solution. The method is illustrated by dissolving Sulphenamide C in SKI, filled with technical carbon black.
