Abstract

A method for superimposing two-dimensional data fields obtained by finite element methods and digital image correlation is presented. The method consists in interpolating the initial data on an irregular grid by selecting from the regular grid the nearest points to the initial ones using the k-dimensional tree algorithm (KD-Tree algorithm in Python). A method is proposed to eliminate the influence of outliers and edge effects on the visualization of relative estimates by using a weight function. Keywords: simulation, correlation, digital image, test, material, bearing. d.v.grinevich@gmail.com, lab30@viam.ru
