Abstract

A method is developed for calculating the parameters of a spring compensator, taking into account the analysis of the disadvantages of existing mathematical models of systems including a piston pump and a compensator for pressure fluctuations. Description of such systems without taking into account the design and technological parameters of the compensator, as well as the physical characteristics of the pumped liquid leads to distorted results and low effectiveness of the compensator operation. The given calculation method allows to provide a high degree of pressure pulsation damping on the outlet line, taking into account hydrodynamic processes close to the real operating conditions of a piston pump.
