Abstract
The method for assessing the state of target indicators and indicators in the road safety system discussed in the article is aimed at taking into account the full set of elements and their connections, indicators and indicators. The need for a systematic approach to reveal the integrity of system elements and target indicators and indicators is substantiated. Statistical information on indicators and indicators in the road safety system has been systematized, and the need to evaluate the criteria of the studied road safety process — "assessment of the state of road safety" — has been substantiated. To determine the causes of road accidents and predict the risk of road accidents, the boundaries of the system under study, meters of system objects, subsystems were determined, and target indicators and indicators in the road safety system were taken into account.
