Abstract
We have studied the feasibility of using metal-polymer composites (PSE-1 polystyrene matrix) as electrode-active elements of solid-state potentiometric sensors for direct determination of heavy-metal ions in aqueous solutions. The properties of electrode-active elements based on composites containing nickel, cobalt, and silver nano-and microparticles in a polystyrene matrix have been investigated, and the potentiometric selectivity coefficients of the composites have been determined.
