Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of using digital comics in the elementary school environment by combining the results of various previous studies. In this study we used meta-analysis research by analyzing data from journals or articles about the influence of digital comic media for use in elementary schools. This research begins with searching, then finding and collecting research that is appropriate to the topic and at the same time selecting, calculating effect sizes, analyzing the results of effect sizes. calculations and draw conclusions and interpret research results through meta-analysis methods. Data were analyzed using quantitative methods. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that digital comic media is quite effective for elementary school children. This is reflected in the average N-Gain percentage which is between 56-75% and the N-Gain is in the medium category. Improved learning outcomes can affect the average. It can be seen that before using digital comic media, the average value was 57.43 and after using digital comic media, it was 82.35.
