Abstract
The healthcare sector is a complex and constantly evolving industry that requires a high level of skills, knowledge and expertise. Mentoring programs implemented in the medical field (both at the university and college levels and at the level of individual medical organizations) provide students with access to the professional experience, knowledge and wisdom of older, more experienced colleagues in order to be able not only to receive formal knowledge within the educational process, but also to receive advice and recommendations from reputable professionals. Mentoring programs in medical schools have positive results, including: They contribute to better career guidance and specialization of students, career planning, participation in scientific research, as well as contribute to better adaptation in the educational environment and reduce the associated stress.
