Abstract

Mental health care about depression in general and for the elderly is very important, contribute to strengthening the HDI for each country as well as its localities. The study was conducted on 1572 elderly people, 804 relatives/primary carers and 39 local mental health managers and managers based on a survey by means of a poll and a survey method. in-depth interview method. The results show that the rate of elderly people participating in depression prevention activities is very low (2.5%), elderly people and their bodies cope when the elderly show signs of depression, depression activities for the elderly have not been implemented locally. The study sets out the need for a model of mental health care for local elderly people.
