Abstract

Using isospin dependent quantum molecular dynamics model (IQMD) a comprehensive interpretation regarding the memory loss in nuclear stopping has been conducted. It is observed that with the increase in energy more nucleons lose their memory and participate in nuclear stopping. We have performed the systematic study of the mass dependence of memory loss and its linear correlation with the allowed collisions. Our study serves as a baseline for the understanding of the memory loss in nuclear stopping.
