The extract(AFJCLEE) was then used for evaluating nootropic activity using Y-Maze and Elevated plus maze models. It showed a significant a decrease in transfer latency in Elevated plus maze model which depicts an improvement in cognition while in Y- maze model, it was found to have increased the spontaneous alteration percentage as well as alteration of behaviour response was significant.
