Abstract

The recent books Matteotti 100 nelle scuole (Matteotti 100 in Schools) and Dante Cruicchi, l’artigiano della pace (Dante Cruicchi the artisan of the Peace) provide some ideas for a reflection, based on the biographies of Giacomo Matteotti and Dante Cruicchi, as sources for communicating, thanks to their life experiences, to the younger generations an insight into memory as a good practice of active citizenship and on methods for perpetuating it.
