Abstract
AbstractIn The course o f the last months we received ‐ with great regret ‐ the sad news from the unforeseen death of three former menbers of the Editorial Board of this journal:Prof. Dr. Johannes Wilhelm, Greifswald, Editor from 1972 until 1997, deceased 22/01/06,Prof. Dr. Alfred Rutscher, Greifswald, Editor from 1980 until 1997, deceased 28/1/05,Prof. Dr. Johannes Conrads, Jülich, Editor from 1998 until 2003, deceased 23/09/05.They greatly had deserved of the development of this journal, its maintenance and improvement of quality. Especially J. Wilhelm acted as responsible Editor‐in‐Chief for more than two decades. Publisher and Editorial Board gratefully commemorate these late collegues, their permanent commitment in favour of this journal, and will preverse a respectful and appreciating memory of their merits.
