Abstract

AbstractUsing differential scanning calorimetry and light microscopy the structure of foils of two types of high molecular weight poly(ethylene oxide) has been studied in dependence of moulding temperature. Non‐linear relationships between melting temperatures, enthalpy of fusion and moulding temperature were established. It is shown that the moulding temperature range of PEO foils with maximum tensile strength coincides with PEO melting temperature range.
