Abstract
This article discusses an effort by the city of Toronto, Ontario, Canada to install permanent, dedicated sampling stations throughout broad cross sections of its distribution system in order to meet regulatory requirements for delivering consistently high‐quality water. The article describes dedicated sampling stations, how they work, and lists criteria for selecting sampling sites.
