Abstract

We show that an effective δ-N interaction, constrained by elastic pion scattering and by the observed π +/gp − ratios for proton knock-out near the 3−3 resonance, modifies isospin mixing coefficients extracted from the π +/π − cross section ratio to nuclear particle-hole states.
