Abstract

The naming and description of the “musica de proyeccion folclorica” is consi dered. On the one hand, the different criteria used by researchers to address the issue from a terminological-conceptual perspective are analyzed. On the other hand, a reference to this problem is made through the protagonists’ speeches when they alluded to a new musical phenomenon, which emerged in Buenos Aires in the mid-1960s and which made more complex the musical scene..
