Abstract

본 연구는 전문대학생의 전공만족도가 전공효능감과 진로역량에 미치는 효과와 전공만족도와 진로역량의 관계에서 전공효능감의 매개효과를 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 전문대학에 재학 중인 대학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 최종 응답자는 남학생 53명(25.9%), 여학생 149명(72.7%)이었다. 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전공만족도는 전공효능감에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 전공만족도가 높을수록 전공에 대한 자신감과 자기조절 그리고 난이도가 높은 과제를 선호하는 것을 의미한다. 하지만 전공만족도는 진로역량에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났으나 간접효과에 대한 부분을 고려할 수 있다. 둘째, 전공만족도와 진로역량의 관계에서 전공효능감이 완전매개효과를 지니는 것으로 나타났다. 전공만족도는 진로역량에 직접효과는 없으나 전공효능감을 매개하여 간접적으로 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 결과를 통해 본 연구의 시사점을 제시하면 첫째, 전공만족도는 전공효능감을 높이는데 매우 중요한 요인임을 밝혔으며, 전공만족도를 향상시키기 위한 다각적인 방법을 모색할 필요성을 제기하였다. 둘째, 전공만족도는 진로역량에 직접적으로 영향을 미치기 보다는 간접적으로 영향을 미친다는 것을 밝혔다. 즉, 대학생시기의 전공효능감이 진로역량에 영향을 미치는 의미 있는 매개변인으로써 전공효능감 증진을 위한 노력에 대해서도 제시하였다.In the present study, We examine the effect of major satisfaction of college students on major efficacy and career competency and the mediating effect of major efficacy on the relationship between major satisfaction and career competency. To this end, We conducted a survey of college students attending college, and the final respondents were 53 male students (25.9%) and 149 female students (72.7%). The main results are as follows. First, The result is that major satisfaction had a positive effect on major efficacy. This means that the higher the major satisfaction, the more confident the major, self-regulation, also the more prefer difficult tasks. However, it was found that major satisfaction did not affect to career competency, but the indirect effect can be considered. Second, It was found that major efficacy had a complete mediating effect in the relationship between major satisfaction and career competency. It was confirmed that major satisfaction had no direct effect on career competency, but had an indirect effect by mediating major efficacy. Through these results, the implications of this study are presented. First, it was found that major satisfaction was a crucial important factor in increasing major efficacy, and propose to seek various methods to improve major satisfaction was raised. Second, it was revealed that major satisfaction has an indirect effect rather than a direct effect on career competency. In other words, major efficacy in college years is a meaningful mediating factor affecting career competency, and efforts to improve major efficacy were also presented.
