Abstract

AbstractMechanochemistry emerges as a promising and environment‐friendly method and has been widely applied in synthesis of solid catalysts. The catalyst with high surface area, uniform pore size, highly dispersed active metal and even single‐atom active metal can be synthesized by the mechanochemical approach. The mechanical agitation can give the catalyst unique properties, reflected in defect generation, structural arrangement and modified interaction, which is difficult to achieve by traditional synthesis methods. These unique structures of catalysts prepared by mechanochemical method lead to outstanding catalytic activity and excellent stability in the catalytic reaction. This review aims to summarize the recent advances in mechanochemical preparation of solid catalyst and application in catalytic reaction.
