Abstract
This paper is focused on the development of new cement composite, which would be useable for robotic processing in terms of sculpting. The newly developed mixture is programmable, which means that a user is able to predict and determine the initial time of hardening. The results of the newly designed cement composite were compared to the commercially available mixtures. In our study, we had to firstly design optimal composition of the concrete mixture, or more precisely cement composite, to permit its treatment for required time-period. The final mixture was treated to the experimental investigation in order to obtain its mechanical and fracture properties. Beside the destructive tests, the specimens were also treated to the measurement of volume changes in the hardening phase. Finally, the individual relief was formed by fundamental sculpting techniques such as imprinting and dragging an impactor through the fresh concrete composite.
