Background: Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) and veno-arterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (VA-ECMO) provide consistent augmentation of cardiac output, which can alleviate haemodynamic fluctuations during high-risk percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Paucity of data exists.
