Abstract
This article investigates the use of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) plates with additional anchors to enhance reinforced concrete slab beam structure. A test proposes an improved additional anchorage measure to solve the debonding problem during anchoring. Three point bending load test are carried out to analyze the influence of different anchoring positions on the reinforcement effect. An optimized Improved Hybrid Bonding CFRP (IHB-CFRP) additional anchoring measure is given. The shear friction model proposed in the IHB-CFRP anchoring scheme can simulate the additional adhesion resistance well. The article investigates the concrete crack extension, load–deflection relation, the strain distribution of CFRP plate, CFRP and concrete interface shear stress. It can be seen that the IHB-CFRP anchoring scheme improves the interface bonding ability and bearing capacity of the reinforced specimen.
