Abstract
A mechanical and mathematical model of a caterpillar drive with an analytical description of the interaction of a caterpillar with rollers, implemented in the RecurDyn program, is presented. The influence of the caterpillar on the vertical dynamics of the vehicle is established by mathematical modeling of the movement.
