Abstract

The paper investigates the net benefits to an organization by using a business Information System in Saudi Arabian business environment. The study conceptualizes DeLone and McLean's Model and tests the dimensions of the model. A sample size of 300 firms was targeted for the actual study and hence selected 15% for the pilot test data. A questionnaire was designed using Google form and sent to 55 respondents working in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia and received 45 responses. The data was analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistical approaches. The demographic data analyzed using a descriptive statistical approach whereas, inferential statistical approaches such as ANOVA, Regression, and Correlation analysis to test the hypothesis. The results of the study reveal that all the dimensions of the model are not satisfying the Net Benefit of using an Information System. Finally, it is concluded that Systems Quality and User Satisfaction contribute more to the model for measuring the performance of information systems success.
