Abstract

• MBI-ES was administered to kindergarten teachers in Ghana to measure their burnout. • Dimensions of emotional exhaustion and lack of personal accomplishment were found. • Public and private kindergarten teachers did not have different levels of burnout. • Job demands had a positive association with the level of burnout. • Job resources had a negative association with the level of burnout.
